With substantial experience in the DC banking industry, Susan has played significant roles in many local community banks as well as a prominent regional bank. She sat on the Audit, Nominating, Compensation and Executive Committees of Franklin National Bank. She also served on the Executive Committee of Franklin National Bankcorporation and chaired the audit committee of this NASDAQ listed bank. Susan was also a member of the DC Regional Board of BB&T bank, where she was a permanent member of the Loan Committee, and reviewed hundreds of millions of dollars of loan requests. Prior to the bank being sold successfully to Eagle Bank, Susan was the Chair of Fidelity & Trust Financial Corporation.
Susan is the Chairman and Founder of Great Jones Capital. She has been known as a leader in the field of tax and governance structures for multigenerational groups who pursue long-term protection of their shared assets. Susan was formerly a Partner at Raffa, P.C. where she served as a Trusted Advisor to her many clients.
Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from American University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Southeastern University. She lives in Washington D.C. Susan has sat on numerous non-profit boards throughout her career. Susan is a Member of The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. She is a past Chair of the Board of Washington Performing Arts and continues in the role as a Member of the Board.
Jordan is the Managing Partner and a Founder of Great Jones Capital. He is principally responsible for new transaction origination, credit analysis, due diligence, and portfolio management. He has built the company's proprietary data analytics platform, which is used to identify and evaluate potential debt investments.
Jordan previously worked at Google, where he was a Product Manager for Google Wallet. He worked with merchant and buyer risk teams to improve risk monitoring and streamline account management of the global merchant portfolio. At General Assembly, in New York City, he managed a team that analyzed large datasets to drive decision-making around user acquisition, user behavior, product design, and monetization optimization.
Jordan received a B.A. in American Studies from Columbia University in New York City. He lives with his wife Nina in Washington D.C.
Vera is the Corporate Controller at Great Jones Capital. Prior to joining our team, Vera worked at a commercial REIT in Washington D.C. for almost nine years. During this time Vera was responsible for the company’s SEC reporting, tax compliance and general corporate matters.
She earned a B.A. in Accounting in 2005 from The George Washington University in Washington D.C.

Dan has extensive experience at commercial real estate firms large and small. Dan worked with the team at WeWork at an early stage. He then joined Carr Properties, one of the largest office owners in the Washington D.C. area. Today Dan is focused on helping clients who require creative approaches for their projects. He prides himself on his client relationships and creating an experience for each client that ensures an extremely positive experience. His knowledge of the specialized lending market allows him to consistently find product offerings for clients that the average lender would miss.
